1- New Investigator Recognition Award (NIRA), 02/02/2022     – Link

Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS)

NIRA is awarded to an early-career (within 5 years of Ph.D.) investigator based on the quality of research and presentation of material during the podium presentation at the ORS conference. The award carries a $1,000 honorarium and a plaque.

2. William H. Harris Award, Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS), 02/02/2021    – Link

The William H. Harris, MD Award is given to an individual based on the quality and scientific merit of a paper accepted for publication in the Journal of Orthopaedic Research.

The award carries a $5,000 honorarium and a plaque.

3. Harvard Presidentʼs Innovation Challenge (PIC) Finalist, 01/06/2019                                

Harvard University Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge (PIC) is a call to action for students and select alumni pursuing ventures that push the boundaries of their fields. I was a finalist in 2019 PIC with my idea for a new method to diagnose orthopaedic disorders using artificial intelligence.

4. Emerging Entrepreneur Award, Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, 01/06/2016                                

This statewide competition in Utah is the culminating event of several entrepreneur competitions hosted by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at the University of Utah with the grand prize of $40K. I have received this award for developing a novel Wi-Fi extender.

5. Recognized as a “Distinguished Student” of Sharif University of Technology

I ranked among the top 0.001 percent of more than 350,000 students in the Iranian National University Entrance Exam, AKA “Konkoor”
